|Poland's central bank could show a null net profit in 2013 therefore no payment from NBP to state budget should be assumed, Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek said in the Senate, citing ministry's eatimates.|
"Our estimates show that NBP profit in 2013 was at trace levels and in fact near zero," Szczurek said. "One should not expect a payment from NBP profit to the budget."
Poland's central bank, by law, pays 95% of its profit to the state budget in the following year.
NBP 2013 financial plan assumed a result at negative PLN 4.4 bln.
